UKTF was founded in May 1987 compiled of 11 senior instructors who had been members of ITF since the early 70's.
These instructors wished to follow the philosophy and technique of General Choi' Hong Hi and ITF whilst encouraging and supporting instructors to participate at every level of Tae Kwon-Do nationally and international without restriction.
Today the UKTF continues to follow and encourage this same policy and we feel definitely made the right choice. After nearly 20 years the UKTF holds fast in its beliefs of the benefits and commitment of the founder General Choi Hong Hi.
We pride ourselves in being a progressive organisation offering a quality support system to our instructors and customer care for our members.
Our goal is to be the best we can be having been members of ITF for over 30 years coupled with our professional outlook. The UKTF gives every encouragement to become every true instructors dream of being a professional instructor "dedicating their whole life to Tae Kwon-Do" and in turn offering the very best to our members .
First and foremost we cater for quality and not quantity. Although our membership continues to increase due to our retention rate, we are now in the positions of a growing number of schools having to offer waiting lists.
