Sabum Forum
Posted : 2007-05-13
The UKTF held its first Sabum Forum in Newcastle upon tyne over the weekend of 12 and 13 May 2007. The aim of the forum was to get all fourth degrees and above together to go through patterns, fundamental movement and step sparring. It also gave the senior grades the opportunity to chew the fat over Taekwon do and discuss the finer points of the martial art.
The Three Masters were present - Masters Sutherland, Thompson and Wallace. At the end of the first day gradings were held for candidates wishing to be promoted to Fifth degree, and at the end of the second day, a grading was held for candidates wishing to be promoted to Third and Fourth degree.
Everyone went away refreshed, invigorated, but a little sore! The forum was highly succesful and will now have a regular place in the UKTF calendar of events.
A selection of images from the day are available click here to view them.
